Dr. Paul Fehlner has 30 years of experience in the life sciences industry with deep expertise in intellectual property. He co-founded reVision Therapeutics to apply his expertise in IP to enhance the accessibility of medicines globally. Passionate about regaining the trust and esteem that the biopharmaceutical industry should have, Dr. Fehlner is a proven leader, leveraging skills honed initially as a law firm partner and then as head of a 120+ employee, multi-country, global IP team for Novartis AG. Dr. Fehlner has advised startups in all stages throughout his career. He earned his Ph.D. from The Rockefeller University, JD from Fordham University School of Law, and Bachelor’s degree from Haverford College. Having lost vision in one eye to proliferative vitreoretinopathy (PVR) after retinal detachment, Dr. Fehlner is acutely aware of the patient journey in ophthalmology and has a personal experience that brings a critical element of compassion to his entrepreneurship.
